This pub is a recreation of the Elephant & Castle that stood to the north of Wolverhampton on the Cannock Road. The fireplace in the smoking room is from a house in Lower Gornal and the Minton tiles in the Cannock Road entrance were collected from a house in Stourbridge. The upstairs bar is from the Gypsy’s Tent in Dudley. Much of the furniture has been donated by Marston’s. Open only during museum opening times to its visitors and finishes serving a quarter of an hour before the museum closes. It serves five regular beers from Holden's, Bathams, Green Duck and Springbanks breweries. In keeping with the early 1960s setting there are no pump clips on the handpulls, but the beers are listed on a chalk slate. Cobs are available. Opening times vary with the seasons and main holidays.
